Terms of Service

Welcome to the DEAR Scan App (hereafter referred to as "the App," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Use of the App​

a. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

b. Account Registration: To access certain features, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep this information up to date.

c. User Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

Features and Services​

a. Discovering and Completing Tasks: The App allows you to discover tasks related to scanning objects and scenes. You agree to follow the task guidelines and submit your scans as required.

b. Scan Scene Feature: Our new feature allows you to record a complete scan video of specified scenes. You agree to capture and upload only the content that you have the right to record and share.

User Content​

a. Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you submit through the App. However, by submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the content in connection with the App and our business.

b. Prohibited Content: You agree not to submit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

Rewards​

The App may offer rewards for completing tasks. The specifics of these rewards, including their value and method of distribution, are subject to change at our discretion.

Privacy​

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Termination​

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the App, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Changes to the Terms​

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties​

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's operation or your use of the App.

Limitation of Liability​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from your use of the App or from any information or content on the App.

Governing Law​

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
